SNOW CLOSING POLICY FOR CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE

As we head into winter and inclement weather, I wanted to update the community as to our campus closure protocol.
Campus Closure Protocol - Weather Related
Effective 10/31/11
In the event there is a school closing due to weather, announcements will be made via the following:
• an MIR3 Campus Alert will be sent to all registered users*
• an email will be sent to students, faculty and staff and campus affiliates
• an announcement will be posted on the College Web site and my.champlain portal and Champlain Compass
• the College switchboard outgoing message will be updated __

Logging into the MIR3 CampusAlert Emergency Notification System

The MIR3 CampusAlert system is used by Champlain College to let its students, employees know of an emergency situation on campus. If you would like to receive emergency notifications, it is free but you will need to provide your contact information by following the instructions below.
