If the picture on the ID is not recognizable, please bring a second ID with a clear picture. The lending library will swipe the student's CC ID to verify if the student is currently taking classes. The lending library will enter the student's information into their system. Alumni are not included in the reciprocal borrowing program.
ST. MICHAEL'S COLLEGE STUDENTS
Current students from St. Michael's College may borrow 5 books for 28 days from our library from the main circulating collection, Teaching and Learning Resources (TLR), and the children's collection. They will also be able to check out New Books for 2 weeks. They can renew the books for another 28 days. New Books will only renew for another 2 weeks. You would swipe the student's card using a special card swipe located at the front desk. When you see the word "permitted" you will know the person is a current student. Inform a supervisor so he or she can create an account in our system for the student. Alumni are not included in the reciprocal borrowing program.
ALL STUDENTS MUST FIRST HAVE THEIR CARDS SWIPED BY THE MACHINE LOCATED AT THE FRONT DESK - THE WORD "PERMITTED" WILL SHOW ON THE SCREEN IF THEY ARE A CURRENT STUDENT.

SUPERVISOR'S ONLY:
You would create an account for the student in our system.
