How Does An Alumni Get A Library Card?

Use the paper form at the front desk until the online application is fixed.

How to get an alumni card and what are the borrowing privilges:

  • fill out the paper or online form "Alumni Library Card Application."
  • the Manager of Circulation Services will verify that the person is an alum
  • once this is verified, a paper card with their name, 13 digit barcode number, and the letters (AL) next to their name will be mailed to them
  • alumni are allowed to borrow 5 books for two weeks
  • they must bring the books(s) back to the library to renew them
  • if the book is not on hold, it may be borrowed for an additional two weeks.
  • books are subject to recall if an alum receives a recall notice they should return the requested item(s) within 3 days
  • books not returned or renewed on time are considered lost and the alum will be billed $75 for the replacement of each item
