Can A Patron Place A Hold On A Book?
Yes, a patron can place a hold on a book. However, the book must be checked out on someone else’s account first. Depending on the amount of time the current patron has checked out the book, we can recall the book for the request.
At this time, only full-time library staff, circulation coordinators, and Library Aide IIs can place a hold on a book for a patron.
Neighbors, Alumni or Guests cannot place a hold or reserve a book.
